“It’s a bad time to run ads.”
I hear this a lot.
When is the perfect time?
When you’re not busy?
Because when things slow down, leads usually slow down too.
Then revenue gets tighter.
Then investing in the thing that could create more opportunities feels even harder.
So what’s the plan?
Wait until every system is perfect?
Wait until cash flow feels unlimited?
Wait until your calendar is clear and you feel completely ready?
That window usually does not show up.
And if your business only works when everything is calm, you probably do not have a timing problem.
You have a systems problem.
Now, I’m not saying every business should blindly run ads.
If your offer is weak, margins are broken, follow-up is messy, or you cannot handle more leads, fix that first.
That is different from saying “it’s a bad time.”
Sometimes it is not bad timing.
Sometimes it is fear.
Fear of wasting money.
Fear of failing.
Fear of getting leads and not knowing what to do with them.
Growth exposes weak spots.
Weak spots do not always mean stop.
Sometimes they show you exactly what needs to be fixed.
So the better question is not:
“Is this the perfect time to run ads?”
The better question is:
“Do I have a clear enough offer, enough margin, and enough follow-up to turn attention into revenue?”
Because if the answer is yes…
It might not be bad timing.
It might just be uncomfortable timing.
