KULT News conducted a First Amendment audit on the Ohio Department of Education on July 18, 2023 and they failed miserably. Not long after the original video was posted, due to a technicality, a certain Karen was able to get the video taken down. Is she âthe ultimate Karen?â Probably not. But weâre hoping the nickname sticks for her. ð
We made a rookie mistake on that video that wonât be repeated again. The issue has been addressed and the audit is back and better than before.
So exactly 3 months and a day later, on Oct. 19, 2023, we revisited the Ohio Department of Education to see if these people learned anything from our first visit.
Would we encounter the same ignorant security guard? Would the same whiny Karen come out and whine some more? Will she try to have our amended audit taken down as well? (She wont succeed if she tries.)
WATCH AND FIND OUT!
If you want to skip the previews (aka spoiler alerts) then skip to the :54 mark in the video.

Often using police body camera footage, 911 call recordings, and covert camera angles, with a few laughs thrown in, KULT News is a First Amendment audit channel you wonât soon forget. Enjoy the deer-in-the-headlights looks as incompetent cops see a mild-mannered citizen just out taking photos turn into a news reporter well- versed on his Constitutional rights right before their eyes.

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes canât be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but with very few, when you are in public, if you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
