KULT News visited “the show me state” (Missouri) on April 11-12, 2024 and boy did the folks in Poplar Bluff, MO. show us…how paranoid they are.
We found employees from multiple financial institutions who seemed to have no concept of the First Amendment.
Would the FIVE law enforcement officers that responded honor their oaths or would they make fools of themselves while our cameras rolled?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
