March is a wonderful month for sowing vegetables, especially the cold-loving ones that tolerate frost. In this short video I share a selection of seeds you can start now, including lettuce, onions, peas, beetroot, coriander, parsley and more. Timing matters though — some crops such as cucumbers, sweetcorn and summer beans are better left until April, so it's helpful to know what to prioritise now.

See my 2026 Calendar for sowing dates throughout 2026.
