Afaik, the lyrics are based largely on the 2024 Danish production of the musical – not the original 2011 one
Glinda’s dubber, Johanne Milland Pedersen, had previously performed as Glinda in said 2024 production

And yeah, I do believe they decided to go with "afsky" because of how relatively close it sounds to "elske" ("to love"), pretty much the same way as "to loathe" and "to love" in the English version (the difference is admittedly more marked in Danish tho)
