The first part of the lyrics is reused in a number of other tracks from the soundtrack of the movie, e.g. “Forth Eorlingas”, “Gandalf the White”, “The Nazgûl Attack”, “The Wolves of Isengard”, and “Where Is the Horse and Rider?”
I chose to use this track because here the lyrics are all used, they’re written in their full form (while in other tracks some were shortened), and they were not combined with other lines in other languages
After the last rewatch, I decided to give a try to Anglo-Saxon, seeing how often it’s used in the soundtrack in connection with Rohan.
I am far from proficient in Anglo-Saxon, and I’m particularly unsure about the transcription in Futhorc. So, if anyone has any suggestions or corrections or general points to raise about what I wrote, please do let me know!
