Last month, Palantir's CEO Alex Karp dropped a twenty-two-point manifesto on X that went viral within hours. Yanis Varoufakis called it "an AI-driven threat to humanity's existence." The document distills Karp's worldview from his 2025 book *The Technological Republic* β and it argues that Silicon Valley "owes a moral debt to the country that made its rise possible," holding an "affirmative obligation to participate in the defense of the nation." It states that "hard power in this century will be built on software." This is the new ideology of the tech right speaking out loud.
The sword isn't a metaphor. It's a tell.
