Many people hold a deep intuition that the mainstream paradigm of scientific rationalism — which denies any validity to psychic phenomena — is far too restrictive. Based on my own direct experiences, I agree.

But there is a problem. When people reject the mainstream model, their minds can become too available, too open to anything that flatters their unconscious biases. They lose the capacity to distinguish between an idea explored as a theoretical model and an idea taken as literal truth.
Trump's political rise — which David Wilcock supported — is one outcome of this collapse of intellectual rigor.
