Hi everyone! Recently Corners of a Bookshelf commented on my channel trailer wanting to know more about a topic that I briefly mentioned there. Basically she asked, "What are the cultural implications of Twilight?" This video is my answer to that. In it, I define a purpose for art. I outline Twilight's genre, the purposes of those genres, and what Twilight does (or doesn't do with that). From there we outline the development of the vampire stories. And we wrap it up with a discussion of bad art. Why I think Twilight fulfills my definition for bad art, and why I think bad art is... well, bad.
