As a nordic ski instructor one the areas we spend the most time on in lessons is the ability to glide on one ski. This is true in both classic and skate lessons. Yet many 3 year olds know how to do this instinctively. But as we get older this ability to balance on1 leg begins to rapidly disappear so it needs to be practiced. This video has one of my fav drills for learning to balance on 1 leg.
