On Sept 6, 2016 we joined Discovery Marine Safaris based in Campbell River, B.C. on a whale watching boat tour. For more details see : keithnicol.blogspot.com/2016/09/for-unforgettable-whale-watching-check.html In no time we had spotted a humpback whale and then several orcas (killer whales) were reported. The orcas were very engaging on this day doing lots of tail slaps, breaching and they even swam under our boat. For anyone wanting to see whales this is a must do trip.
