Hello everyone, Sheriff Billy Woods here and NO, this is not Wheel of Fugitives or Fishing for Fugitives. It is Wanted by Woods Wednesday. You might recognize this Sheriff beside me, Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey. Actually, most of you will be more familiar with his sidekick Major “Junny”. These two crimefighters have been begging me to bring them on a Wanted by Woods episode so, today is a special day for them.
We are looking for 45-year-old Willie Lee Honor the third and he is wanted for Felony Battery, Failure to Comply with Career Offender Obligations and Failure to Appear on DWLSR. This guy is a career criminal, he has been found guilty of numerous charges such as drugs, theft, and battery. Honor has several convictions for Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting with violence, Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Depriving an Officer of Means of Protection. If you want to be a criminal in this state….I don’t recommend it. Every one of the sheriff’s offices in Florida communicate with each other. We help each other. So your chances of being caught are extremely high. In fact, since we started Wanted by Woods over 4 years ago, only 7 of those we featured are still outstanding. And those 7 are looking over their shoulders every day sleeping with one eye open.
Wheel of Warrants, Fishing for Fugitives and Wanted by Woods is working because our citizens love to help us. It’s a team effort ensuring that our counties are safe, enjoyable places to raise our families. So do the right thing and turn yourself in. Because you know those around you are going to be sending us tips today and we will be coming for you.

If any of you have any information about his whereabouts, please call Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP and reference 21-40 in your tip. If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward!
