Operation Brotherhood
Last Friday, June 7,2019 deputies and detectives from MCSO along with officers from the Ocala Police Department, conducted a proactive traffic enforcement operation in Ocala. The operation was designed to address traffic violations as well as locate wanted individuals. In all, 132 traffic stops were conducted resulting in 30 arrests and 52 criminal charges. 101 warnings were issued along with 21 traffic citations. 3 Notice to Appear (criminal) citations were written and 1 firearm was recovered along with numerous, illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
