On my way to Jackson, Wyoming I stopped at favorite spot near Bear Lake, Utah. This is called the Garden City Boardwalk. This is about a 5 minute walk from the parking lot to the beach.
Also, I rant a little about damage and public funds. Feel free to ignore that if you'd like. I just hate seeing tax money on these nice things in life, destroyed.
Regardless, it is a great place to visit in the heat of summer.
