I drove 30mins from Grand Forks, North Dakota to check out this state park. To be honest, I had lower expectations as it is pretty flat out here but in the end was definitely surprised and enjoyed all of the hikes here.
Raven Ravine was my favorite out the 2 hikes I did in the State Park. It had more variety and featured a gulch that I liked. There was a little bit of water, but Turtle Creek doesn't flow through it unfortunately.
The State Park was not busy at all, relatively cheap to enter, and had beautiful trees and foliage in the fall.
Highly recommended to check it out if you are in the area by Grand Forks.
