So, today we are out and about walking in the Cotswold village and civil parish of Hatherop which is located in the county of Gloucestershire, England. Hatherop is approximately 2.5 miles (4.0 km) north of Fairford, 30 miles south-east of Gloucester. Cirencester is the postal town for Hatherop. The River Coln runs along the western side of the village. Close by is the village of Coln St. Aldwyns which we visted a couple of months ago youtu.be/3RqclKshLmU youtu.be/g3-Ft9LRi4c
The parish church is dedicated to Saint Nicholas. It was listed on the 26th Nov 1958 as a Grade II listed building. It dates back to 1578 (approximately)
This is the first time using the newly released DJI Pocket 3 camera, which features 10 bit colour & a 1" sensor, the power of these features enabled filming to take place about 20 - 25 mins before sunrise, a feat which would of been difficult to pull off with the previous camera - the DJI Pocket 2. As the majority of the content on this channel is filmed early in the morning this new camera is already proving to be highly useful. The sunrise is seen as we head back from taking a look at St. Nicholas's church, which is quite a wonderful & spectacular sight!
