So, today we are out and about walking in the Cotswold village and former parish of Salperton which is located approximately 8 miles (13 km) east of Cheltenham in the county of Gloucestershire in England. in 1931 the village had a population of 92 people. The village now comes under the parish of Hazelton. Because of the exposed position of the village it earned the nickname "Cold Salperton", it was definitely cold that morning at -7 Celsius!

We finish the walk at the war memorial, which contains the names of those from the village who lost their lives during WW1 and WW2.

This is not conclusive coverage of the village, there is still one more part to take care of...which is to be continued within the next couple of months...

Unfortunately, at the time of this recording, I really was quite ill! Which was about two weeks into an illness that lasted for approx four weeks. During this time I still carried on with recording walks (and drives @TheWindingScore - Shameless plug!)
