See how we did 2 beautiful Wagyu New York Strip Steaks on the SNS MasterKettle! Direct Sear for only about 6 minutes.
• Started with two beautiful Wagyu NY Strip Steaks from Hassell Cattle Company.
• Salt brined the steaks and put in refrigerator for 24 hours.
• Set up the SNS MasterKettle Grill for direct searing.
• Let the grill get super-hot.
• Seared for 1 minute each side 2 times and removed them.
• I overdid these a little, but they were still fantastic!
• Total time was about 6 to 8 minutes to get to 105F final rest temp was 135F.
Summary: We really treated ourselves with Wagyu steaks and these were excellent! The Slow and Sear MasterKettle Grill worked great.
