We cooked a really nice 13 pound Capon on the Frontage gas grill using the rotisserie. Seasoned with Grillaholics Herbacious Hen and SPG with Butter!

• Jack traveled to Clark Summit, PA to pick up this 13 lb Capon.
• Tied this up and put on the rotisserie rod and seasoned with Grillaholics Herbacious Hen and Grillaholics SPG with Butter.
• Got grill running with just the infrared burner on the back on high and put the capon on the rotisserie.
• Checked it out when we got to around 100 degrees. We also ran into an issue with the screws on the tongs and tightened them with a pliers which worked well!
• Once the Capon was on the grill for about 1 hour, we turned on the 2 end burners of the grill to low to keep more heat in the grill.
• Pulled once we got to 158 in the breast to let the carry over finish this off. Total cook was about 3 hours.
Used the Kyoku Carving Set that was sent to us and I was very impressed. Super sharp and cut this capon like butter! Here is the link to get your own!

Summary: Rotisserie is such a great way to cook chicken as it bastes in its on juices. Herbacious Hen and SPG Combo really worked nice and has some amazing flavor.
