My Sister-in-law, from California, bought this clock for $5.00 and brought it up to me on a visit this year. The clock was in amazing shape for it's age and all the bushings were already replaced. Just a good waxing to the case, a bit of oil to the movement and replacing the glass decal to a new and updated was of putting it on the glass. Now it looks like a new clock again.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
