From 1993, here is the commercial promoting the then-new Hot Country radio station in the Sioux Falls area, New Country 100.5 KIKN-FM.
Licensed to Salem, this 100KW station broadcasts from a tall tower a few miles west of the town of Dolton. The signal reaches a very large portion of SE South Dakota stretching from Mitchell to Sioux Falls, and from Madison to Yankton. It has retained it's Hot Country format since sign-on, and recently added a relay transmitter on 99.1 to improve the signal in Sioux Falls proper. The station is now branded as Kickin' Country 99.1/100.5
