Recorded shortly after the Thanksgiving holiday in 2020, here are a small sampling of PPV promos I recorded off Midco Cable. There isn't much unfortunately, and I ended up just editing together the total amount of promos that were repeated on a constant loop throughout the day when no event was airing.
Of note, several of the PPV specials advertised here, like the CZW Wrestling ones, can be seen here on YouTube on the channel "Ring Battles TV". Things move quickly, but I wonder how many people can recognize wrestlers in these promos that have since moved on to the bigger promotions, like WWE or AEW.
Speaking of AEW... while a brief mention of it is shown at the start, no actual video promo of Full Gear was present in this recording as the event date had passed by then. Even so, it's odd they didn't run a promo anyway to advertise the replay.
As for NWA/UWN (the PrimeTime Live weekly PPV), they're still around too, though the weekly PPV experiment didn't last too long. Now the UWN drops new episodes of all their wrestling shows on YouTube for free via their Memphis Wrestling channel, while NWA soldiers on with it's weekly "Powerrr" show on the over-the-air network Comet.
