I've had issues like this before, but they are getting worse. I think it's time for a better VCR. The canopus capture box seems to be working fine when I use other sources, but with this VCR it will drop video and audio whenever there is any kind of glitch on the tape. Quite annoying.
The TV is hooked up to the VCR's RF output, the canopus is hooked up to the composite out.
I grabbed the old Magnavox CRT TV to see if the glitch occurred on all of the VCR's outputs. I'll give that TV credit... it's been sitting outside in the carport all winter and still works fine!
