Soundtrack of the Quantum ProDrive 425 AT 40MB IDE hard drive.
This is a voice coil drive, with the distinctive Quantum clicky sound.
The disk is connected to an IDEFile controller / emulator for use with an Apple Lisa. Like the Profile and Widget, the orange light on the front is a Ready light, it goes out when the disk is busy.
It's installed in a SuperMac DataFrame enclosure - its layout is perfect, I just replaced the MFM to SCSI adapter with the IDEFile IDE to parallel adapter.
