VW Communications Network Tech Talk 217, the Teves ABS system.
This system was introduced from the 1989 model year on US market VWs, on the Corrado G60 and Jetta GLI. The 1990 B3 Passat would also get this system. The Jetta GLI was also the first car to get Central Electric II, which VW would use into the 2000s on some models.

This ABS system, made by ATE, was used by many automakers including VW, GM, Jaguar, Chrysler, and others. It's an integral system, which replaces the vacuum booster with a hydraulic booster driven by the ABS pump. It worked well when new, but many faults in the system can cause you to lose brake assist.

Did you notice how they cut from the Jetta GLI to a Corrado for the dash warning light and under hood shots?
