Comparing the glare ice traction of the 1996 BMW 328i equipped with All Season Traction to the 96 Lexus ES300, Volvo 850 Turbo, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.
Quite a bit of marketing magic going on in this video. 1/3 throttle pedal travel doesn't always mean 1/3 throttle opening. It's likely this constant throttle application overrode the traction control in the Volvo, my 99.5 Jetta works the same way. It's there to assist, if you floor it on ice it will still spin the tires.
