This new edition is a repress of a mastering that was originally done for the Classic Records edition by Bernie Grundman. This Verve Acoustic Sounds Series record is beautifully pressed on super quiet 180gm vinyl at Quality Record Pressings and housed in a deluxe tip on high gloss gatefold by Stoughton Printing.
Duke Ellington and Johnny Hodges Play The Blues was originally released on the Verve label in 1958 for the mono, and 1961 for the stereo. It forms a pair with their other collaboration Side By Side.
