A Veery (Catharus fuscescens) preens its feathers and poops, while perched on a small tree at Smith Oaks Bird Sanctuary, in High Island, TX, USA. If you listen closely, you can hear another Veery singing in the distance. That singing reminds me a bit of 8-bit video games sounds, such as those from Pac-Man.
