Activist Darth Vader is real, and he’s a HUGE fan of Flock cameras
Some guy dressed as Luke Skywalker’s dad - spoilers - showed up to a city council meeting to talk about how much the Empire LOVES public surveillance - and from his perspective, the local San Diego government was making great decisions
It was all a big satirical commentary on how comically evil all the Flock partnerships that so many towns and cities across America seem from the perspective of everyday people - told through the mask of the dark lord himself
The man behind the cape was actually Anthony Ralphs - who’s been attending these meetings regularly for about a year now without being taken very seriously - but something about showing up as the personification of cartoonish evil and critiquing the city council on their “jedi mind tricks” finally seems to have gotten the point across - at least to outsiders
