Breathe easier with UPPER Chest Supported Barbell Rows... the difference with this one from a standard chest-supported row is WHERE you're supporting your chest.

This setup takes the pressure off the lungs VERY effectively while still giving you the full support of the bench for rowing.

If you've done normal chest supported rows with the your bodyweight and the weight compressing your lungs, you know that quite often, it's not your BACK that becomes the limiting factor... it's your BREATH.

This easy change in setup completely fixes that.

Instead of lying flat on your chest on the bench, set an incline bench to about 30 degrees or so.

You're going to straddle the bench and set just your UPPER chest on the top end of the bench.

DO NOT set the rest of your chest or abdomen on the bench.

Your hips are bent about 90 degrees or so and your legs are set so that they're pushing you forward into the bench so you're locked onto the bench while you row.
