Without a Chronicle Mode the only way to examine Kaguya's place in the wider setting is through her Arcade encounters. Despite being another member of Licht Kreis and one of Orie's close squadmates, Kaguya canonically arrives on the scene the day-of the Final Night and her interactions only touch on older connections relevant to Licht Kreis and then one-off encounters like Hyde and Byakuya.

Unlike Tsurugi though, Kaguya's backstory is elaborated on in her ending and how she was brought into Licht Kreis' fold. It doesn't go into detail as to why Kaguya did what she did and if it was purely in self defense but it's a layer that could be elaborated on. It begs the question just how much of Kaguya's backstory or any of her squad knows about each other's pasts. Orie at the very least seems mildly aware of how Kaguya is assigned to clean-up duty and states that she doesn't intend to have Kaguya deal with all their problems in her stead anymore. Kaguya and Mika of course seem to be very aware of each other's true natures, at least on Mika's end who knows Kaguya won't pass an opportunity to troll. Either way it doesn't seem to impede their trust in who they are now as friends and Kaguya was willing to test Hyde's resolve in how serious he is about Orie. Still, the emphasis on Kaguya's past does make her integration to the cast on the muddy side since she seemingly hasn't transferred to Hyde's school yet.

Kaguya's rank as a 6th executor is brought up a number of times as being intentionally misleading and unrepresentative of her actual prowess, made doubly suspect with how she emphasizes her own rank to downplay herself. The playable Licht Kreis girls fill out a decently logical chain of rank from Wagner (4), Orie (5), Kaguya (6), and Mika (10) with each having some justification as to why they're placed there but Kaguya's reasons are the least explored due to recency. It could just be as simple as wanting others to underestimate her and just in the realm of general trickery. Her conversation with Wald and Sion don't reveal much but Lond's conversation does mention the that they have met before and that Lond acknowledges that she's big deal.
