There are five characters in UNI2's base roster who only show up once in an arcade ladder outside their own: Linne, Enkidu, Merkava, Yuzu, and Nanase. Linne once again most likely lost to the final boss, it's basically told to us through the cover art and opening; Enkidu is playing for the villains' side again; Merkava is the first character to have two arcade endings; and Yuzu was never major character in the story but at least her encounter seems to be a canonical interaction. Nanase on the other hand shows up in Phonon and Vatista's arcade endings but her single appearance in an arcade ladder is in Sion's 4th wall breaking arcade route.
And to top it off, it's mostly just playing at the idea that she can pass as a walking Satsuki reference. At the very least, Nanase seems to be pretty comfortable with respecting her upperclassmen/elders so as long as they're not named Hyde.
