I got myself a Valentines Day gift; the EXT Vaia which is the Inverted Dual Crown Fork from Italy. I heard nothing but good things about the fork so I wanted to check it out for myself. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the craftsmanship the fork is a piece of art. Everything about it is top quality.
I brought the fork over to Gravity Bikes / Suspension RX and they installed the fork for me. Broc took me over to the parking structure stairs and helped me set up the fork and settings. They cleaned and lubed the bike and I was on the trail on Valentines Day.
First lap I was instantly blown away, I will be honest I was hopeful and had based on everything I heard about the fork I had high expectations but the fork really exceeded my expectations. The best way I could explain it is the fork felt supported, it literally ate up and the chunk and chatter and it was like I was riding on a tempur-pedic mattress, I did a few laps and made some changes and each lap got even better. I was so confident on the last lap I decided to hit the gnarliest trail in OC (Next video)
