It's been a few weeks since I've hit the steeps. I was stoked to be back. I haven't been able to ride lately because my Grandma recently passed. I am so grateful to be back on the bike and back to the home trails.
It was Labor Day weekend and I knew my restaurant would be crowded so I had to do a short local ride. So I grabbed the E bike and headed to the steeps. It was the first time riding with Kyle and Matt in a long time. Matt has been working more hours and Kyle has been out from his shoulder injury. This was only his 2nd ride since dislocating his shoulder on opening day at Snow Summit.
The trails were dry and loose as expected but we had a blast. I haven't hit the first trail in many years and forgot how fun it is. We were able to knock out 3 fun trails in less than 2 hours and I was able to get home, shower and got to the restaurant right when we got really busy.
