I finally built my dream E Bike. This process has taken almost 2 years and I have demo over a dozen bikes with different motors. I have ridden almost every motor out there: Shimano, Bosch SX and Bosch CX, Fazua, TQ40 and TQ60, Brose and most recently Avinox. I have tried almost every brand as well.
Originally I was 100% certain I was going to buy a "light E bike" (E bikes with 60NM or less) in late 2024 I was going to buy either the Transition Relay than in 2025 the YT Decoy both with the Fazua motor, but then there were a lot of issues, in 2025 I test rode a few bikes with Bosch SX and I really liked the Transition Regulator, but heard about the TQ60 coming out so I waited, I got to test ride the Yeti MTe and absolutely loved the TQ60 motor, I almost ordered the Propain Sresh SL but then heard about some big brands coming out with full power long travel bikes with the Avinox motor which was almost as light as some Light E bikes so I waited.
First time I saw the Mondraker Zendit I was blown away. For the past few months I have been contemplating between the Crestline, Orbea Wild and Mondraker Zendit. All 3 off these bikes are sold out and very hard to find. Ultimately I decided on the Mondraker Zendit and I am so happy I did.
I brought the bike to Element 6 to get it custom painted, For this bike I was inspired by some of my favorite guns. I showed Element 6 my Geissele Super Duty, Kimber 2K11 and Mossberg Shockwave and told them how I wanted the bike painted and Jesse absolutely killed it with the custom paint job! Thank you Javi from 2nd Ascent for wrapping and building the bike. Huge thanks to all my sponsors that made this dream build a reality!
