I had a bad crash on June 17. I fell about 20 feet and the impact bruised my liver. I strained my neck but after getting X Rays I confirmed I didn't break anything. The doctor wanted me to take 4-6 weeks off the bike but I busted my ass with rehab every single day. I rode the stationary bike, yoga or gym every single day. I actually started the with the stationary bike in the sauna the day after my crash when i was barely able to even walk. when i went to Arizona for my daughters tournament I went to the gym every day. I took 15 days off and felt 90% healed. I decided to head up to Snow Summit for my first ride because to me, it's one of the safer places to ride.
I was definitely nervous and the plan was to take it easy. But after the first lap I felt good. I was actually surprised at how comfortable I was with especially on the jumps. The park was pretty empty and it was only me and Luis so we just hit back to back laps. Definitely good to be back. Thank you to everyone who reached out to me after my crash. I really appreciate the love.
