In this Unreal Engine PCG tutorial, we start from a completely empty level and build the first version of a procedural forest step by step. You’ll learn how to prepare your level, load the PCG plugins, understand when PCG should be used, and create your first PCG graph using landscape data, surface sampling, and the static mesh spawner. This lesson is designed for beginners who want to understand PCG in a simple and practical way while building a real environment instead of just learning random nodes. This is Lesson 1 of a full PCG course where we gradually build a complete forest inside Unreal Engine.
