In November 2024, the Utah Cultural Site Stewardship program was able to place a steward on a truly special site in the Fish Springs Marsh. This area has been occupied by humans for about 11,000 years. This cave site holds a wealth of archaeological information about how humans lived in the past - but, unfortunately, it has been previously looted. We’re glad stewards like Katie are helping land management agencies safeguard these important pieces of Utah’s history and mitigate further damages!
