***Attention Teachers!*** Our team at the Utah Division of State History have created lesson plans for grades 4 & 5 (but adaptable for older students) that use the primary and secondary sources available at Jarvie Ranch (near Vernal, Utah) to teach about the human history and natural history of this important landmark.

This video discusses the Ecology curriculum. Cowboys and outlaws aren’t the only ones to call this Ranch home! Find out how to introduce your students to the plant and animal life of the high desert and foothills.
