Passion fruit syrup is one of my all-time favorite cocktail ingredients. It's tart, it's sweet, and it adds a delicious vibrancy to any cocktail.

In today's video, we're trying two cocktails featuring passion fruit syrup that I've never had before. One is new school and one is about as old school as it gets.

THE TURNBUCKLE: Created by Jen Akin
- 1 oz Cynar
- 3/4 oz Jamaican rum
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz passion fruit syrup
- 1/4 oz orgeat

TRIBUTE TO THE DEMERARA DRY FLOAT: Original by Don the Beachcomber, tribute created by Jim "Hurricane" Heyward
- 1 1/2 oz Jamaican rum
- 1 oz Demerara rum (float)
- 3/4 lime juice
- 3/4 passion fruit syrup
