Cap hallow form is cherry with some cyanoacrylate glue re-enforcement and fill. Power carver used for gills. Finished with dark walnut stain danish oil in the gills then natural stain danish oil over and in, then Ack’s finishing paste.
Stem hallow from is sinker cypress finished with natural stain danish oil over and in, then Ack’s finishing paste.
Base is punky, spalted, grub ridden sweet gum. Multiple coats of Waterlox Original Sealer Finish to seal, help stabilize, and finish, then Ack’s abrasive paste and finishing paste.
