This is the equipment I used, but there can be some variability. Other options are definitely available, use your best judgement for your setup and needs. If your machine is 220/240VAC, you will likely need a different relay or a contactor and either a control power transformer or a 120VAC cable for the control circuit.
Ring Terminals, assorted
Two wire cable/cord, about 16 awg, for use with limit switch (I used a power cord off a broken fan)

I had to modify the limit switch to reach the tensioner arm. I could have made the bracket thicker, or made it to be adjustable, but chose to remove the roller on the arm and use the following:

The bracket was some plywood offcuts shaped to fit, glued and stapled, then screwed into place. The junction box can be mounted in several ways, but I drilled and tapped some holes in the frame to bolt it into place.
