Welcome to my channel! This is Andy from I love languages. Let's learn different languages/dialects together.

Guarani, specifically Paraguayan Guarani, is a South American language in the Tupi–Guarani branch of the Tupian language family. It is one of Paraguay's official languages, alongside Spanish, and is spoken by the majority of the population, with half of the rural population being monolingual in Guarani. Variants of Guarani are also spoken in parts of Argentina, Bolivia, and Brazil, and it has been an official language of the Argentine province of Corrientes since 2004. Additionally, it is one of the three official languages of Mercosur, alongside Spanish and Portuguese. Guarani is the most widely spoken Native American language, unique in its continued use despite the prevalent language shift towards European languages in the Western Hemisphere. Paraguayans have maintained their traditional language while also adopting Spanish.

Nheengatu, also known as Modern Tupi, is a Tupi–Guarani language spoken by about 20,060 people in the Rio Negro region, particularly among the Baniwa, Baré, and Warekena people in São Gabriel da Cachoeira, Amazonas, Brazil. It exists in three linguistic variants within Brazil and has speakers in Venezuela and Colombia as well.

This video is created for educational, language awareness, and language preservation purposes. It aims to provide valuable insights and knowledge to viewers, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of different languages and their unique characteristics. By raising awareness about linguistic diversity, the video seeks to foster a greater respect and recognition for various languages, particularly those that are endangered or underrepresented. Additionally, it contributes to the preservation of languages by documenting and sharing linguistic knowledge, thus ensuring that these languages and their cultural heritage are not lost to future generations.
