A short two-part piece with a pleasant feeling. River Run was written in December 2016 for a game of the same title that my friend was working on at the time.
The second, faster part was written first, and would serve as the main gameplay theme - I think for a game called River Run, the music had to have a fast pace. The slower first part was for the title screen or menu, and it essentially provides a calmer take on the same motifs from the second part.
The game wasn't finished, but as I was starting work on this remake, my friend mentioned interest in finishing it, so perhaps one day it will see a release, and now with a remade soundtrack!
This was pretty straightforward to remake as both parts have a simple arrangement, as with Autumnal Chills, I'm making a conscious effort to balance frequencies better, as I've had a tendency to have way too much bass and/or mids in previous work. Definitely feel like progress is being made again.

The Ludum Suite is mostly finished, but I'm moving halfway across the country this weekend so I may not actually have much time to edit the video. There's a...surprise in Part 5 which will take a while to compile the video for. So that'll be up on either the 21st or 28th.
