🥁 Get ready for my most intricate woodturning project to date! In this video, I take you through the step-by-step process of creating a jaw-dropping Bluetooth speaker that resembles a set of drums. The masterpiece is crafted from Walnut, Stabilised Maple Burr, Sycamore, and Yew wood, giving it a unique and stunning aesthetic.
🌳 I powered through this project using my trusty Harvey t60s wood lathe, and armed with carbide woodturning tools from Easy Wood Tools, the precision and detail achieved are unparalleled. Watch as I transform raw wood into a functional work of art over the course of 3 days!
✨ To bring out the natural beauty of each wood type, I utilized Yorkshire Grit Abrasive Paste, adding a smooth finish that highlights the intricate details. The final touch involved a combination of Original Lustre Wax and Danish Oil, both from Hampshire Sheen, giving the speaker a luxurious and protective coating.
🔩 The assembly process was a meticulous task, and every piece was securely joined together with 3mm brass rod for durability and stability.
