Main line #6 is connecting the capital Sofia with the town of Kyustendil (the main city in Kyustendil Province, Bulgaria) and after that is continuing towards the village of Gueshevo, situated near the Bulgarian-Macedonian border. The line has been electrified in the 80's up to Radomir, but from there to Kyustendil and Gueshevo there is no electrification and still only a diesel trains can run.

Usually the passenger trains are served by DMU's Siemens Desiro, but in the beginning of this summer many DMU's went out of service and most of the trains were served by diesel locomotives class 55 of BDZ (LDH 125). That was the main reason for me to went there and make some pictures and videos. Unfortunately there aren't any freight trains on the diesel part of the line.

Currently some of the damaged DMU's were repaired and the trains again are served with the more comfortable, but uninteresting for trainspotting Desiro's.
