For MANY years, the Twin Cities and Western had ran down to Saint Paul to interchange with the Canadian Pacific, now CPKC. This changed in July of 2024, and they now interchange over in Minneapolis at Humboldt Yard. This creates a lot of neat, and interesting spots to capture this train at!
We'll start off over at the Mississippi River, and watch as the train crosses the Camden Bridge. After crosses, and takes the curve into Humboldt Yard, we'll see a few other TCWR trains before watching in depart with about 40 cars. From here, we'll chase the TC&W back towards Hopkins. Along the way, we'll see a number of CPKC trains, Northstar, and watch as they roar through Downtown Minneapolis. This is a neat train to see, and well worth going after, if you can find them going about their day!
