With the way coal has been in decline over the last 15 years, are they dying out? There are a couple of hold outs yet in the Twin Cities area, and one of them is on the TC&W, although they are hard to capture. Lets take a look at a few of these trains, and see a bonus as well.
We'll see a few of these trains as they make their way to the TC&W, and things starts off neat downtown Minneapolis. After pulling through Cedar Lake, we'll later watch as rocks and sways on some jointed rail. Moving down the former Milwaukee Road main, we'll see these rare trains a few more times. To round things out, we'll catch a bonus coal train going to Bayport on the Union Pacific. Get the coal trains while you can, who knows how long they'll hang around for!
