It's time once again to go back 20 years to see trains from the past! For Trains in 2006, we will see trains in many different locations in the Western US. Included in this video is a selection of scenes from Alaska, San Francisco, California's Central Coast, and several different spots in Southern California. A variety of different trains are included including a mix of Coaster, Pacific Surfliner, Metrolink, and Amtrak Coast Starlight passenger trains, CalTrain, the San Francisco Muni Metro and Cable Cars, and even a rare Alaska Railroad GP49 locomotive on a freight train! In addition to these, we will see the Ventura County Railway number 2 steam locomotive operating at the Orange Empire Railway Museum (now the Southern California Railway Museum).
