In 2024, Canadian Pacific steam locomotive number 2816 completed a several thousand mile long journey across three countries, traveling from Calgary, Alberta to Mexico City. The locomotive was celebrating the merger of Canadian Pacific Railway with Kansas City Southern to form CPKC. In this May 2024 scene, the 2816 has its train moving along the Mississippi River in Minnesota.
